    Oregon has landed another Canadian.

Rutgers transfer Eugene Omoruyi, the 6-7 junior forward from Ontario, Canada, committed to the Ducks on Monday night, he told ZAGSBLOG. Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com first reported the news.

As per NCAA transfer rules, he will sit the 2019-20 season and play in 2020-21.

“[It’s a] great atmosphere with a winning culture,” Omoruyi said. “Also the way the coaching staff could help my game and take it to the next level. [That] really played a role in my decision.”

Omoruyi also recently visited Texas A&M.

He averaged 13.8 points and 7.2 rebounds last season.
