Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.
Two big announcements are on tap for this weekend:
**Coleman Hawkins, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Prestige Prep (CA), tells ZAGSBLOG he will announce at 1 p.m. PST/4 EST on Saturday. He is considering Illinois, Rutgers, San Diego State and Marquette.
**Zed Key, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.), will announce at 2 p.m. on Sunday. He is considering Ohio State, Marquette and Florida, among others.
Academy, visits UConn this weekend and Iowa (Sept. 27). Syracuse, UCLA and Maryland are also involved.
**A.J. Hoggard, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Huntington (W.V.) Prep visits Marquette through Friday before heading to Florida. He also visited Michigan State, Ole Miss and Providence.
**Noah Collier, the 6-foot-8 forward from Westtown (PA), takes an official to Clemson this weekend. He visited Pitt last month and heads to Cal (Sept. 30).
**John Hugley, the 6-foot-9 center from Brush (OH), will take his third official visit to Miami this weekend (Sept. 20). He has also taken official visits to Nebraska (Oct. 28) and NC State (Aug. 30).
**Caleb Furst, the 2021 power forward from Blackhawk Christian School (IN), takes his first official visit to Virginia this weekend (Sept. 20). He also has an official visit planned to Michigan State (Jan. 3).

The North Carolina Tar Heels will have two five-star 2020 prospects on campus this weekend. **Walker Kessler, the 6-foot-10 center from Woodward Academy (GA), trips to North Carolina this weekend (Sept. 20) for his sixth official visit. Kessler, who cut his list to six in July, has previously taken official visits to Michigan (Nov. 2 and Aug. 6) and Duke (Feb. 1). **Caleb Love, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Christian Brothers College (MO), will take his second official visit to North Carolina this weekend (Sept. 20). Love, who cut his list to six last month, took his first official visit to Missouri (Sept. 6) and has visits planned to Louisville (Sept. 27) and Kansas (Oct. 11). **Vince Cole, the 6-foot-6 junior college wing from USC-Salkehatchie, will take his first official visit to St. John’s, which is considered the favorite for him. **Hassan Diara, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Putnam Science Academy (CT), visits Georgia. He will also visit Indiana (Sept. 27) and Texas A&M (Oct. 11). **Javonte Brown-Ferguson, the 7-foot, 240-pound 16-year-old big man from Thornlea Secondary School in Ontario and the Under Armour Canada Elite AAU program, visits Texas A&M. He also visits Kansas (Oct. 4) and UConn (Oct. 24). **Cameron Thomas, the 6-foot-3 combo guard from Oak Hill Academy (VA), trips to UCLA this weekend (Sept. 20) for his third official visit. Thomas has previously taken official visits to NC State (Oct. 19) and LSU (Sept. 13). He also has an official visit planned to Auburn (Sept. 27). **Micah Peavy, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Duncanville (TX), will take his second official visit to Texas this weekend (Sept. 20). Peavy took his first official visit to LSU last year (Oct. 12). **Deivon Smith, the 5-foot-11 point guard from Grayson (GA), takes his third official visit to Mississippi State this weekend (Sept. 20). Smith, who cut his list to ten last month, has taken official visits to NC State (Aug. 30) and Louisville (Sept. 6). He also has an official visit planned to Miami (Sept. 28). **RJ Davis, the 5-foot-11 combo guard from Archbishop Stepinac (NJ), trips to Pittsburgh this weekend (Sept. 21) for his second official visit. Davis took his first official visit to Georgetown (June 25) and has visits planned to Marquette (Sept. 28) and North Carolina (Oct. 12). **PJ Hall, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Dorman (SC), will take his second official visit to Florida this weekend (Sept. 20). Hall took his first official visit to Clemson (Sept. 6) and has visits planned to Virginia Tech (Oct. 11), Tennessee (Oct. 18) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 2). **Niels Lane, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Roselle Catholic (NJ), takes his third official visit to Texas this weekend (Sept. 20).
