Cade Cunningham, the 6-foot-6 point guard from Montverde (FL) Academy, is the projected No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, per ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

Cunningham remains uncommitted to a college, and is coming off a visit to Kentucky this past weekend. He’s also considering Florida, North Carolina, Oklahoma State and Washington.

Should Cunningham end up going No. 1, he would be the third No. 1 pick coached by Montverde’s Kevin Boyle, following Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons. Boyle has also coached two No. 2s in Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and D’Angelo Russell and two No. 3s in Joel Embiid and R.J. Barrett.

USC-bound big man Evan Mobley is the projected No. 2 pick, followed by uncommitted guard Jalen Green of Prolific Prep (CA). Green is considering Auburn, Memphis and Oregon, among others. Isaiah Mobley, Evan’s older brother and a freshman forward at USC, is the projected No. 28 pick.

Uncommitted wing Ziarie Williams is projected at No. 4, with Kentucky-bound wing Terrence Clarke at No. 5.

Kentucky currently has three projected first-round picks with No. 5 Clarke, No. 10 B.J. Boston and No. 30 Johnny Juzang. Kentucky remains involved for several other projected first-rounders, including Cunningham, No. 6 Jonathan Kuminga and No. 9 Greg Brown.

Duke has two projected first-rounders in No. 7 Jalen Johnson and No. 16 D.J. Steward.

Villanova has two players projected in No. 23 Bryan Antoine, a former projected first-rounder in 2020 who may redshirt this season after shoulder surgery, and No. 36 Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, the Big East Preseason Rookie of the Year.

Kansas has two projected players in No. 34 Tristan Enaruna and No. 48 Ochai Agbaji.

Michigan State has two in No. 41 Aaron Henry and No. 50 Xavier Tillman.

Houston has two in No. 51 Quentin Grimes and No. 56 DeJon Jarreau
