Jaylen Clark, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Etiwanda (CA), announced his commitment to UCLA on Thursday, via Twitter. He took his official visit to UCLA on Sunday and Monday.
βHead coach Mick Cronin is a great guy,” Clark told ZAGSBLOG Wednesday via text. “I love their style of basketball and I’ll get to play the way I know how.”
Clark chose UCLA over schools such as USC, Arizona, Oregon, Texas and Virginia Tech, among others. He joins Daishen Nix as the second commit in the Bruins’ 2020 class.
“I’m physical and play with a fast pace,” Clark said describing his game. “I’m energizing and defensive [focused].”
According to 247Sports, Clark is ranked as the No. 104 overall player in the Class of 2020 and the No. 21 ranked shooting guard.
