Joshua Morgan, a 6-foot-11, 195-pound center from Long Beach State, announced his commitment to USC on Friday, per his Instagram.
“I had already had a pretty good feel for USC being that I played at their house this year so I experienced it first hand the environment and the team,” Morgan told 247Sports.
“Talking with coach [Andy] Enfield about his program and how he developed his players especially at my position was a big reason I decided to go there. It’s Los Angeles, California, so it’s not far from home either.”
As a freshman last season, Morgan averaged 8.4 point, 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks and was named Big West Defensive Player of the Year.
