LSU’s Trendon Watford declares for NBA Draft

LSU freshman forward Trendon Watford declared for the NBA Draft on Sunday.

His father, Ernest, said they had yet to choose an agent.

Watford does not appear on the latest ESPN.com mock draft, and is ranked No. 77 among its Top 100. His father said they are hoping to go through the process to “get some true evaluations and feedback.”

The 6-foot-9 Watford averaged 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds this past season as LSU.
