Rodney Rice, the class of 2022 guard from The Bullis School (MD) and Team Durant AAU, has broke down his recruitment with ZAGSBLOG.

Rice has received offers and interest from about twenty schools thus far but two have prioritized him.

When asked about who is working the hardest right now he said, “I’m going to say Georgetown and Louisville although I haven’t really been in contact with anyone during this quarantine.”

Rice then broke down Georgetown and Louisville:

Georgetown: I like how the coaches really like me since they spent a lot of time recruiting me. The school also has great history of NBA legends which that catches my eye.

Louisville: I like the fan base that they have. Everyone in Louisville seems to be supporting them and I also like their coaching staff as well.

The 6-foot-4 guard has taken unofficial visits to Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, and South Carolina.

After asked about a timetable for cutting his list and committing, Rice said “I’ll probably commit after my high school season. I still don’t think I have the offers I’ll probably get but when they come I’ll start cutting my list down and make a decision but that won’t be soon.”

The most important factors for Rice include, “the family vibe, will I fit in on the floor, the connection I have with the coaching staff and the players, and the energy of the crowd during the games.

He averaged 22.9 points during this past season playing for Bullis.

According to 247Sports, Rice is ranked as they No. 51 player in the class of 2022.
