Kowacie Reeves is headed to Florida, he announced Thursday via Twitter.
Reeves, the 6-foot-6 combo guard from Westside (GA), chose Florida over Georgia Tech and Stanford.
“Really, it was just overall the situation, resources, relationships and the intangible stuff for and my family,” Reeves told Rivals.com. “I can see myself going there and playing well in their system. I also get that nothing is handed to you and that I need to work and earn my stripes.”
Reeves is the first commit in Florida’s 2021 class.
According to 247Sports, Reeves is ranked as the No. 5 combo guard and No. 67 overall player player in the Class of 2021.
