Michigan has landed a commitment from Wake Forest transfer guard Chaundee Brown, he announced Monday via Instagram.
Brown chose Michigan over Gonzaga and Illinois.
The 6-foot-5 junior guard will have to sit out the 2020-21 season unless he receives a waiver for immediate eligibility, before having one year of eligibility remaining.
Brown was Wake Forest’s third-leading scorer last season at 12.1 points per game and its second-best rebounder at 6.5 boards per game. He missed eight games due to injury, but had 24 points and nine rebounds in a double-overtime win against highly ranked Duke in late February.
Brown’s commitment comes less than a week after Michigan landed a commitment from Purdue transfer Nojel Eastern.
