Jai Smith, the class of 2022 forward from St. Thomas More (CT) and the Albany City Rocks AAU program, broke down his recruitment with ZAGSBLOG.

When asked who is working the hardest right now, Smith said, “UMass, Seton Hall, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Rutgers. ”

He then broke down each school.

Rutgers: They just stay consistent and loyal.

West Virginia: They stay consistent and loyal just like Rutgers.

Seton Hall: It was a great unofficial visit and I like the intensity and level they play at which makes pros.

Virginia Tech: They stay in contact with me a lot.

UMass: They’re very consistent, stay loyal with my recruitment, and can produce pros.

Smith has unofficially visited Seton Hall, Rutgers, Syracuse, San Diego, and Siena.

After asked about a timetable for cutting his list, he said, “I want to cut my list during the middle of the season next year.”

When it comes choosing a school Smith said he is looking for “where I can come in and having a family environment that can help me reach my goal of playing in the NBA.”
