The offers just keep coming in for Class of 2022 guard Derrian Ford.

Ford, the 6-foot-4, 194-pound shooting guard from Magnolia (AR), picked up an offer from Missouri on Monday. He broke the offer for ZAGSBLOG:

“I know they’re a very good basketball program,” Ford said. “From the talks that I had with the coaches today, it seems like they’re really excited. I’m very excited also. So, it should be a good experience to go up and visit campus someday.”

Ford currently holds 20 offers from the likes of Arkansas, Baylor, Auburn, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, among others.

“I’m just trying to pay attention to the coaching and how they are, more than just basketball,” Ford said. “I want coaches for more than my talent on the court, I want to bond with them off the court, like a family.”

Ford has taken unofficial visits to Baylor, Arkansas, UCLA, Oklahoma, Memphis, Auburn, Oklahoma State and Florida.

“Depending on how many visits I can take, I’m going to try and take the most I can,” he said. “I don’t have any schools in particular. I’m just enjoying the journey.”

According to Rivals.com, Ford is ranked as the No. 8 shooting guard and No. 38 overall prospect in the Class of 2022.

After leading Magnolia to their first state title in 21 years as a freshman, Ford was even better as a sophomore, averaging nearly 18 points, six rebounds and five assists, en route to a perfect 26-0 record.

“I’m a scorer and I play defense,” Ford said. “I’m a student of the game. I’m well-disciplined and I have a winning mindset.”

Basketball aside, Ford has another talent, one a little more unorthodox.

“I can ride a bike backwards,” Ford said. “I can put my hands on the handle bars and sit on the handle bars and ride it.”
