Kendall Brown has committed to Baylor.
“I will be furthering my education and basketball career at Baylor University,” Brown said in an Instagram Live with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.
Brown, the 6-foot-8, 205-pound small forward from Sunrise Christian (KS) Academy, chose Baylor over Minnesota, Arizona, Ohio State, Kansas, Marquette and Illinois.
“He does things that often don’t show up in the stat sheet,” Sunrise Christian head coach Luke Barnwell told ZAGSBLOG earlier this month. “Just his athleticism and his feel for the game are so high that he just affects a lot of possessions when he’s locked in.”
Brown’s commitment gives Baylor their third commitment in a week, joining Langston Love and Jeremy Sochan.
According to 247Sports.com, Brown is ranked as the No. 4 small forward and No. 14 overall player in the Class of 2021.
