Hopkins listed Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Providence, Oregon, Iowa State, South Carolina and Cal-Berkeley among other schools prioritizing him. He’s recently had Zooms with Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina and Notre Dame. Kentucky on Friday landed its first Class of 2021 commit in four-star guard Nolan Hickman. Hopkins committed to Louisville last December over Illinois, Indiana, Xavier, Wisconsin, Iowa and others schools. He then re-opened his recruitment after Louisville was hit with a Notice of Allegations. The NCAA in May hit Louisville with a Notice of Allegations in the pay-for-play scheme involving recruit Brian Bowen that ended up getting former coach Rick Pitino fired in 2017. The Notice of Allegations covers the 2016-17 and 2017-18 men’s basketball seasons and includes one Level I allegation and three Level II allegations, including one against Pitino, now the head coach at Iona, for failure “to promote an atmosphere of compliance.” Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on FacebookBlessed to say that I have received an offer from The University of Kentucky🔵⚪️ #BBN pic.twitter.com/9nLBadEjdQ

Kentucky is among several schools in hot pursuit of former Louisville commit Bryce Hopkins.
Hopkins decomitted from Louisville Aug. 9 and Kentucky offered Aug. 21.
“I felt great after Kentucky offered me,” said the 6-foot-7 Class of 2021 forward from Fenwick (IL). “The basketball program speaks for itself, and for them to be recruiting just shows me that my hard work is paying off.”
