The Emoni Bates-Bronny James game set for Nov. 21 in Texas will air live on FS1 at 9:30 ET.

I first reported news of the game last month over on Forbes SportsMoney.

Gold Level Sports & Entertainment on Tuesday announced a multi-event partnership with FOX Sports to nationally televise The Battle: Basketball Showcase.

The showcase, which takes place on Nov. 20th & 21st at the Allen Event Center, features an elite matchup between YPSI (YPSI Prep) of Ypsilanti, Mich. and CBC (Sierra Canyon) of Chatsworth, Calif. with their respective nationally-ranked players competing head-to-head. This will be FOX Sports’ first nationally televised high school basketball series with The Battle matchups continuing through 2021.

The matchup will feature five of the top nationally-ranked high school players going head to head, including James vs. Bates, the Michigan State commit who is the first high school sophomore prospect to win the prestigious National Player of the year award. The Battle will be the only time these high-profile teams will compete during the 2020 season and it can be seen on FS1 and online via the FOX Sports app.

“With one of the most sought-after matchups in high school basketball history taking place at The Battle, we knew we had to broadcast this on a national level. We are excited to be partnering with FOX Sports for multiple events so that basketball fans all over the country will be able to watch The Battle” said Gold Level Sports & Entertainment CEO, Darren Duncan.

Due to rule changes in the State of California, all teams participating in The Battle will be competing as club teams and some programs will use alias names.  There is limited capacity for fans and media to attend and social distancing and a mandatory mask policy will be strictly enforced.
