After LaMelo Ball was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, LaVar Ball says there’s “no doubt” in his mind that LaMelo will win Rookie of the Year, he told TMZ Sports Saturday.
“Teaming up with Michael Jordan and you can’t get rookie of the year?? Are you crazy?!,” LaVar said.
Last season with the Illawarra Hawks, Ball averaged 17.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game in 12 games played.
