Five-Star guard Aminu Mohammed commits to Georgetown

Class of 2021 guard Aminu Mohammed has committed to Georgetown, he announced Monday.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from Greenwood Laboratory (DC) School, chose Georgetown over offers from Indiana, Georgia, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri State, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Towson and Wake Forest, among others.
According to 247Sports.com, Mohammed is ranked as the No. 3 shooting guard and No. 16 overall prospect in the Class of 2021.
Mohammed becomes the first five-star prospect to commit to Georgetown since 2014 and the first under head coach Patrick Ewing, per ESPN.
Georgetown’s five-man class of Mohammed, Ryan Mutombo, Jordan Riley, Tyler Beard and Jalin Billingsley is ranked No. 6 nationally by 247.
