Chet Holmgren, Emoni Bates highlight Naismith All-America boys teams

The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced its 2021 high school boys’ All-America teams Tuesday, with 2021 recruit Chet Holmgren and 2022 recruit Emoni Bates headlining the first-team.
Holmgren, a 7-foot, 190-pound center from Minnehaha (MN) Academy, is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2021.
He is currently considering a final seven of Michigan, Minnesota, Gonzaga, Ohio State, Georgetown, Memphis and North Carolina.
Bates, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward from Ypsi Prep (MI) Academy, is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2022.
Bates is currently committed to Michigan State for the 2022 class.
Duke signee Paolo Banchero, Auburn signee Jabari Smith Jr. and uncommitted 2021 guard Jaden Hardy were also selected to the first-team.
