  • Ohio State adds Penn State transfer Jamari Wheeler

    Jamari Wheeler is moving from one Big Ten school to another.

    The 6-foot-7 senior guard is transferring to Ohio State from Penn State, he announced. He will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer.

    He also considered Florida, Miami, Grand Canyon, South Carolina, UNLV, St. John’s, TCU, Wright State, South Florida, FIU, Murray State, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Southern Illinois, Texas San Antonio, Elon, James Madison, UMass, Towson, San Diego and Florida Golf Coast

    Wheeler averaged 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season at Penn State.
