San Diego adds St. John’s transfer Marcellus Earlington

San Diego on Tuesday landed a verbal pledge from St. John’s transfer Marcellus Earlington.

After averaging 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds as a junior with the Red Storm, the 6-foot-6 Stony Point, N.Y. native could be an all-conference type performer in the WCC, He averaged 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds as a sophomore.

Earlington was one of six St. John’s transfers this offseason.
