Class of 2022 four-star forward Isaac Traudt took his second official visit to Virginia over the weekend (June 11-13).
“I loved it,” Traudt told ZAGSBLOG Monday. “They think that I can come in and help them out.”
Traudt, the 6-foot-9, 205-pound power forward from Grand Island (NE) Senior School, was joined on his visit by 2022 Virginia commit Isaac McKneely.
“Me and Isaac could be a really good duo in coach [Tony] Bennett’s system,” Traudt said. “We’re good friends and it was really fun having someone else there. He has a great family.”
Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 9 power forward and No. 54 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, Traudt took his first official visit to Nebraska earlier this month (June 4-6).
“It was great,” Traudt told ZAGSBLOG. “Just how much of a priority the staff made me feel and the facilities were amazing.”
Next up for Traudt is an official visit to Michigan State from June 17-19.
“I think it’ll be a great experience,” he said. “Their winning tradition is what intrigues me.”
Traudt will close the month with an official visit to North Carolina from June 27-29.
He also took an unofficial visit to Creighton on June 1.
“Coach [Greg] McDermott has been recruiting me hard and we have a great relationship,” Traudt told ZAGSBLOG earlier this month. “They were also the first school to come watch me play and recruit me so just having that relationship early appeals to me.”
