  • College coaches begin reaching out to 2023 stars

    On Tuesday morning at midnight, NCAA coaches were permitted to start reaching out to rising juniors and many of the top 2023 players in the nation began receiving calls.

    **Mikey Williams, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound combo guard from Lake Norman (NC) Christian, has heard from Tennessee State since the contact period began, per Recruit News.

    **Omaha Biliew, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound power forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, has heard from Kentucky, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Gonzaga, Memphis, Ohio State, Iowa and Iowa State.

    **Kwame Evans Jr., the 6-foot-8, 190-pound small forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, picked up an offer from LSU shortly after the contact period began. He has also been contacted by Kentucky, Auburn, Virginia, Northwestern, Columbia and Michigan.

    **Simeon Wilcher, the 6-foot-4, 165-pound combo guard from Roselle Catholic (NJ), received an offer from Memphis and Bryant shortly after the contact period began. He has also heard from LSU, Nebraska, Pitt, Duke, Auburn, UConn and George Washington.

    **JJ Taylor, the 6-foot-8, 185-pound small forward from Kenwood (IL) Academy, received offers from Kentucky, Florida, Gonzaga and Michigan since the contact period began.

    **Robert Dillingham, the 6-foot-1, 160-pound point guard from Combine (NC) Academy, has received offers from Wake Forest and NC State since the contact period began. He has also been contacted by Arkansas, Kentucky and Duke.

    **Baye Fall, the 6-foot-10, 205-pound center from Denver (CO) Prep Academy, received an offer from Maryland on Tuesday. He has also been contacted by Memphis, Kentucky, Arkansas and Colorado.

    **Mookie Cook, the 6-foot-7, 200-pound small forward from Jefferson (OR), received an offer from USC on Tuesday. He has also been contacted by Kentucky, Memphis, UCLA, Arizona, Oregon and Gonzaga.

    **Mackenzie Mgbako, the 6-foot-7, 185-pound small forward from Gill St. Bernard’s (NJ) School, has received offers from LSU, Ohio State and George Washington since the contact period began. He also received texts from Duke, Kansas, Villanova, Florida State, UConn, Memphis, Maryland, Providence, West Virginia, U Penn, Northwestern and Columbia.

    **Kris Parker, the 6-foot-6, 170-pound shooting guard from Crossroad (FL) Academy, has been contacted by Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Coastal Carolina since the contact period began.

    **Ja’Kobe Walter, the 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard from McKinney (TX), has heard from Kentucky, Florida, Ohio State, Arkansas, Gonzaga, Michigan, Kansas State, Baylor, Tennessee, Memphis, Texas and Oklahoma State since the contact period began.

    **Caleb Foster, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, picked up an offer from Memphis shortly after the contact period began.

    **DeShawn Harris-Smith, the 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard from Paul VI Catholic (VA), has received offers from VCU, Maryland, Saint Joseph’s, LSU and Radford since the start of the contact period.

    **Rodney Gallagher, the 6-foot, 160-pound point guard from Laurel Highlands (PA), has heard from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Wake Forest since the contact period began.

    Gallagher is considered a four-star football prospect as well.

    **Jalen Hooks, the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Crispus Attucks (IN), has heard from Memphis, Indiana, Arkansas, South Carolina, Michigan, George Washington, Pitt, Ohio State and Georgia since the contact period began.

    **Marlon Barnes Jr., the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Brush (OH), has heard from George Washington and Pitt since the contact period began.

    He took an unofficial visit to Pitt earlier this month.

    **Layden Blocker, the 6-foot-2, 160-pound point guard from Sunrise (KS) Christian Academy, has heard from Arkansas, St. John’s, Tennessee, Kansas State, Gonzaga, Baylor, Ole Miss, George Washington, Memphis and Coastal Carolina since the contact period began.
