Class of 2022 four-star guard Justice Williams has committed to LSU, he announced Thursday via Twitter.

Williams’ announcement comes just four days after his first official visit to Baton Rouge.

“I’d like to thank all of the schools and coaches over the past four years that have recruited me,” Williams said Thursday via Instagram. “I’d like to thank my family and all my trainers that have helped me to get better at my craft. I want to thank each coach that I have have had over the last decade that has allowed me to grow as athlete, and compete at the highest high school level.

“With that being said I have decided to commit to Louisiana State university and play for coach [Will] Wade and coach [Kevin] Nickelberry. I believe that LSU style of play under the direction of coach Wade and coach Nickelberry will allow me to be successful, bring the best out of my abilities and make a dream a reality. Go Tigers! #Bootup 🐯💜💛”

Williams, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard from Montverde (FL) Academy, chose LSU over Auburn, Purdue, UConn and Memphis.

The Philadelphia native transferred to Montverde from Philadelphia Roman Catholic a year ago and recently helped Team Final win the Southern Jamfest in Hampton, VA. He was one of six Team Final players invited to Pangos. They will be the favorites at Peach Jam next month.

“Justice is extremely talented, there is really nothing he can’t do on the court,” team Final coach James Johns said. “He actually has elite athleticism that people don’t know about because he does so many other things well. Has an elite basketball IQ and has the ability to play at the highest level.”

Williams joins four-star small forward Devin Ree in the Tigers’ 2022 class.

“Justice is smooth and will explode on the national stage this year,”Montverde coach Kevin Boyle said. “He’s an outstanding combo guard who is one of the nation’s best scorers. He has made great progress in his defense and intensity and has a great future ahead. He’s one of the few high school players who can score from three, mid range and finish at the rim .”
