Class of 2022 four-star big Felix Okpara took his first official visit to Ohio State over the weekend (June 17-19).
The 6-foot-11, 210-pound center from Hamilton Heights (TN) Christian Academy, broke down his visit for ZAGSBLOG Monday:
“The facilities and the relationship between the coaches and players,” Okpara said on what stood out to him about OSU. “They really think I would fit well in their system both offensively and defensively.”
Next up for Okpara is a trip to Ole Miss from June 27-29.
“Right now, I don’t know much,” Okpara said. “So I can’t wait for the visit.”
Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 5 center and No. 33 overall prospect in the class of 2022, Okpara is a good shot blocker that can guard multiple positions. He plays aggressively and can shoot the mid-range with consistency.
“Felix is the best shot blocker in the country,” Hamilton Heights coach Steve Cook said. “He has shown the ability to take over a game with his defensive attributes. He has steadily worked on his game and has improved year in and year out.”
