Maliq Brown, a 6-foot-9, three-star power forward from Blue Ridge School (VA), committed to Syracuse on Saturday.

Ranked the No. 45 power forward in the Class of 2022, he chose the Orange over Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Penn State and N.C. State.

Brown visited Syracuse earlier this month.

He joins point guard Quadir Copeland, small forward Justin Taylor and big man Peter Carey in Syracuse’s 2022 class.

The Orange remain in the mix for small forward Chris Bunch of Wasatch Academy (UT).
