Jeremy Fears, the 6-foot-1 point guard from La Lumiere (IN) and Brad Beal Elite, is down to five schools.

Ranked the No. 7 point guard in the 247Sports.com Composite, Fears has cut his list to Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Kansas and UConn.

He cut Memphis, Indiana and Missouri from his previous list of eight.

Fears, who helped lead Brad Beal Elite to the Peach Jam final against Team Final, recently visited Michigan State and will trip to Michigan Dec. 21.
