Texas Tech star Terrence Shannon plans to transfer, according to multiple reports.

Kentucky and Illinois are considered the favorites. He would also consider returning to Texas Tech, he told Jon Rothstein.

The 6-foot-6 junior averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists this season for the Red Raiders, who lost to Duke Thursday in the Sweet 16.

Shannon chose the Red Raiders after decommitting from DePaul in 2018. He was also considering Florida State, Georgetown and Illinois.
