Angel Montas, the 6-foot-6. 215-pound Class of 2022 shooting guard from Life Center Academy (FL), committed to Fordham on Friday.

A native of the Dominican Republic, he chose coach Kyle Neptune’s program over Iona, Tennessee, Illinois and New Mexico State.

“It’s a great academic school with a young enthusiastic staff that’s going to work with me to keep evolving my game and [give me] an opportunity [with] a great alumni network,” he told ZAGSBLOG.

As for what skillset he will bring, he said, “I will bring a lot of scoring games but also make my teammates better.”
