Georgetown’s Aminu Mohammed to remain in NBA Draft

Georgetown freshman Aminu Mohammed announced he will remain in the NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-5 Maryland native and five-star recruit was the Hoyas’ leading scorer, averaging 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds. He was a bright spot during an otherwise bleak year in which Coach Patrick Ewing’ s team went 0-19 in the Big East and lost 21 straight games to end the season.
He is not currently projected to be drafted per ESPN.com, but a source close to him said more than 20 teams have shown interest.
His guardian, Shawn Harmon, said in April Mohammed planned to remain in the Draft.
