Justin Edwards, the 6-foot-7, 180-pound small forward from Imhotep Institute (PA) and the Team Final AAU Program, is down to two schools and will announce July 25 at 7 p.m.

Edwards is considering Kentucky and Tennessee after eliminating Auburn, Maryland, Kansas, Villanova, and the NBA G-League, he confirmed to Travis Branham of 247Sports.com.

Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio first reported the news.

Playing with Team Final at Peach Jam, Edwards broke down his remaining options for 247:

Kentucky: “He’s [John Calipari] a good guy and him contacting me the most out of all the coaches really stands out.”

Tennessee: “They’re family, their recruitment has been good and we have built a good bond.”

Edwards is competing this week at Peach Jam in North Augusta, S.C. His announcement will come the day after the Peach Jam championship game.

“Justin is very talented. He can really shoot it and beat guys off the dribble,” Imhotep Institute coach Andre Noble said. “At 6-7 with guard skills, he is a tough matchup. He is a high character and hard working young man as well.”
