NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. –Class of 2023 four-star forward Curtis Williams Jr. said Friday that Louisville is the school that’s recruiting him the hardest as he eyes a September decision.

“Out of everybody, Louisville has definitely been recruiting met he hardest,” Williams said. “I know that if I go there, I can just be myself. I can be Curtis. I really want to find a program where I can just be myself. Outside of that, even if I’m not talking to a head coach, I’m talking to somebody every day. We’re talking about the game or life, anything like that.”

Williams, the 6-foot-6, 205-pound small forward from Brother Rice (MI) and The Family AAU Program, said he is looking to visit Louisville sometime in August and plans to make his college decision in “early to mid-September.”

“Alabama, Florida State and Xavier are still involved, but it’s not as consistent as Louisville,” Williams said. “Other than that, Nebraska and Michigan State are starting to get into it.”

As far as deciding factors, Williams said he’s looking for “a place I can call home and somewhere I can go in and be Curtis.”

Ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 12 small forward and No. 64 overall prospect in the class of 2023, Williams has really excelled in his three-point shooting of late.

“I can really shoot the ball, but aside from shooting I can do everything else,” he said. “I can rebound, guard your best player, get steals and do anything you need me to do.”
