Louisiana escapes Southern Alabama to win Sun Belt Tournament

No. 2 Louisiana survived No. 8 Southern Alabama in the Sun Belt conference on Monday night to clinch their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance in school history.
Sophomore guard Themus Fulks scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting while First Team All-Sunbelt big-man Jordan Brown scored 13 points and hauled in 16 rebounds.
The Ragin’ Cajuns were placed as a 14-seed on Joe Lunardi’s recent bracketology.
