Kentucky freshman Cason Wallace declares for NBA Draft
By CHARLIE PARENTCason Wallace, a top 10 recruit in the class of 2022, has declared for the NBA Draft, he announced Saturday.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 11.7 points, 4.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 2 steals per game for Kentucky last season.
Some have projected the high upside guard to land in the lottery, or even top 10, while other outlets have Wallace landing in the late first round of this year’s draft.
Cason Wallace, potentially the best defender in this draft, is intriguing to NBA teams with his combination of toughness, feel for the game, shooting, unselfishness and defensive instincts, giving him a high floor as a prospect. https://t.co/J6LTiVpze8pic.twitter.com/ieAqkRE0EC
