Purdue adds Southern Illinois grad transfer Lance Jones

Purdue has landed a commitment from Southern Illinois graduate transfer Lance Jones.

The 6-foot-1 guard from Evanston, Ill., averaged 13.8 points on 37% shooting along with 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists last season. The year before, he averaged 14.7 points and 3.7 rebounds.

He is a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection and a two-time MVC All-Defense selection.
