Houston continued to bolster its roster ahead of its entry into the Big 12 next season with the addition of Baylor transfer L.J. Cryer.
Cryer, a Katy, TX native who averaged 15.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists for a team that was No. 1 in the country for parts of last season, won’t have to change states or leagues with his move.
Cryer figures to add some scoring punch to a Cougars team losing Marcus Sasser and Jarace Walker to the NBA Draft.
Kelvin Sampson’s team also added former Temple guard Damian Dunn, who averaged 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a sophomore.
