Vanderbilt transfer Myles Stute has committed to South Carolina, he announced on Monday.

The 6-foot-7 small forward averaged 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds on 34.7% shooting last season.

“I chose South Carolina because I believe it’s the right fit for me,” he told On3 Sports. “I also believe in Coach Lamont Paris and his vision for the program. The players on the team have built a competitive environment where we will push one another to get better with each day and I’m looking forward to leading and working with the guys day in and day out. Spurs up, the sky is the limit for us.”

Stute is the third player to transfer to South Carolina this offseason, joining former Minnesota guard Ta’Lon Cooper and former Citadel forward Stephen Clark.

The Gamecocks will also bring in three-stars Arden Conyers and Collin Murray-Boyles in their class of 2023.
