North Texas transfer Abou Ousmane has committed to Xavier following a visit, he told ZAGSBLOG.
“Honestly, family atmosphere, development, winning culture, and Big East basketball,” he said by text.
“[Coach Sean Miller] wants me to bring my defensive ability, toughness, and post presence.”
The 6-foot-10 Brooklyn native averaged 11.1 points and 6.0 rebounds as a junior. He also considered Seton Hall and Syracuse, among others.
In 66 career starts, he has 780 points.
Ousmane has two years of eligibility remaining.
Xavier previously added Dayvion McKnight (Western Kentucky) and Quincy Olivari (Rice).
