Adam Njie, a 6-foot-2 combo guard from Cardinal Hayes in The Bronx, committed to Washington State on Saturday.

He also considered Arizona State, Miami and Mississippi State.

He averaged 14.5 points 7.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game as a junior. He is the third junior from Hayes to commit following Ian Jackson (North Carolina) and Elijah Moore (Syracuse).

“Adam Njie is an excellent addition to the Washington State program,” Hayes coach Joe Lods said. “Adam has tremendous confidence and it’s evident in his play. He is an excellent ball handler and scorer and his ability to lead a team has grown exponentially during his time at Hayes. He will quickly shoot up the rankings his senior year.”
