Georgetown transfer Jordan Riley has committed to Temple following a weekend official visit.

The 6-foot-4 guard also visited Seton Hall and was scheduled to visit Towson on Monday.

“I chose Temple because as soon as I met coach [Adam] Fisher and the coaching staff they treated me like family,” he said.

“I believe I can bring everything to the table from my defense, bringing energy on the court and being able to provide offensively, whether it’s getting a bucket or making plays for my teammates. Coach Fisher believes in me and I have no other choice but to be successful ”

Riley averaged 4.6 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 38% from the field and 19% from deep during Patrick Ewing’s final season at Georgetown. Coming out of Brentwood High School, Riley was named Mr. New York Basketball and Newsday Player of the Year.

Now he will have a change of scenery and a chance to shine under new Temple coach Adam Fisher.

He joins transfers Quante Berry (Providence) and Matteo Picarelli (UMBC) an freshman guard Zion Stanford (6-5, 195), who scored 30 points in the Pennsylvania Class AAA Championship game to lead West Catholic High to its first-ever state championship.
