New Mexico State has landed Seton Hall transfer guard Femi Odukale, per Andrew Slater.
Odukale — the 6-foot-6, 205-pound guard from Brooklyn — averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals for Seton Hall last season. He started in all but two games.
The guard is transferring for the second time, as Odukale started his career at Pittsburgh in 2020-21. He averaged 6.6 points in 22 games as a freshman.
Odukale carved out a more significant role his sophomore year and started in 28 of 31 games for Pitt. As a result, Odukale stepped up his production, finishing the 2021-22 campaign with averages of 10.8 points 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
New Mexico State and Jason Hooten have now landed three players from the portal this offseason including Odukale, former UCF small forward Brandon Suggs and Sam Houston center Kaosi Ezeagu.
