Paulius Murauskas, a highly touted prospect out of Lithuania, has signed with Arizona for the 2023-2024 season.
The 6-foot-9 forward led the FIBA U18 European Championship in scoring last summer with 20.7 points per game.
He has already played 61 games at the pro level and becomes the seventh international player on Tommy Lloyd’s roster for next season.
“My decision to go to the NCAA is all about improvement,” Murauskas told ESPN. “Especially physical improvement to be able to compete in high-intensity games. Personally, I think that this will be the best place for my further development as a person and as a basketball player.”
He will join a loaded Wildcat roster that has brought in highly touted transfers Caleb Love (UNC), Jaden Bradley (Alabama), and Keshad Johnson (SDSU).
Murasukas will join fellow Lithuanian Motiejus Krivas in Arizona’s class of 2023, as well as Spaniard Conrad Martinez and three-star K.J. Lewis out of Texas power house Duncanville.
