He doesn’t have a visit planned yet to either Big East school, but hopes to see them. As for the ODU visit, he said, “It was a nice experience. [Their message was I would] be able to play right away [and] have a impact on the team right away.” Hodge played the Philly Live event with St. Rose and will now gear up for Peach Jam with the PSA Cardinals. “Matt was awesome this weekend again,” Lynch said. “I think he is opening up a lot of doors here lately.” Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on FacebookNot sure anyone helped themselves more at this weekend's Philly Live than St. Rose's Matthew Hodge.

Matt Hodge continues to impress on the summer circuit while drawing high-major offers.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound rising senior at St. Rose in Belmar, N.J. has picked up offers from Villanova and Marquette, and took a visit to his father Odell’s alma mater Old Dominion. He also holds offers from Temple and GW, among others.
Villanova is where St. Rose coach Brian Lynch played before beginning his overseas career.
“It feels great,” Hodge said. “Villanova was always a school I loved watching when I was younger.”
