Here is what Johnson said of each of his final schools via 247Sports:
Creighton: “Just how me and the coaches have a good relationship. When I came there I had great vibes with everyone, I got to play with the guys and the thing with Creighton is they have a lot of spacing and they move the ball. I feel like their style of play fits my game.”
Illinois: “I like their style of play. Me and the coaches built a good relationship and that’s pretty much it.”
Mississippi State: “They play fast, me and coach have a good relationship. We talk a lot.”
Missouri: “They were one of the first schools recruiting me. They were one of my first offers…it’s an SEC school. They were one of the schools that has been there from the start.”
Virginia Tech: “Me and the coaches have a good relationship. They were one of the schools that I could come in and be myself.”
Johnson is ranked the No. 80 player in the nation per 247Sports and the No. 10 overall player in the state of California. Creighton is the current favorite to land Johnson.
