Johnson said his relationship with head coach Rodney Terry helped cement the deal. “We have a great relationship,” he said. “I feel I can be myself around them and I feel they would push me and help better myself.” He joins shooting guard Cam Scott and power forward Nic Codie in Texas’ 2024 class. He is also the latest player from Link Academy to commit in 2024. “Tre is a scoring combo guard with great size, length and athleticism,” Link Academy coach Bill Armstrong told ZAGSBLOG. “He can score at all three levels and has very good instincts as a passer when playing the point guard position. He’s an extremely hard worker and an ultra competitor who competes to win every possession on both ends of the floor. His size and length make him a very versatile defender.”BREAKING NEWS: Tre Johnson is committing to Texas 🤘🤘 #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/K2v8Kqcz3M
