By CHARLIE PARENT
Kansas State forward Nae’Qwan Tomlin, who hails from New York City, will “no longer be able to continue with the K-State basketball team,” the Wildcats’ Athletic Director confirmed Wednesday.
The 6-foot-10 JUCO product, who averaged 10.4 points on 50% shooting last season with 5.9 rebounds, was suspended from the team following his arrest last month.
AD Gene Taylor’s full statement:
Kansas State remain covered at Tomlin’s position, featuring seniors Will McNair Jr. and David N’Guessan in similar roles.
Standout Creighton transfer Arthur Kaluma has more than covered Tomlin scoring, leading the 7-2 Wildcats with 16.5 points per game.
Kansas State has no forward in their class of 2024 but have three four-stars including Dai Dai Ames, RJ Jones and Macaleab Rich.Follow Charlie on TwitterFollow Adam Zagoria on TwitterFollow ZAGSBLOGHoops on InstagramAnd Like ZAGS on Facebook
