Pitt has added its first player out of the transfer portal in the 2024 cycle, as Florida State transfer forward Cameron Corhen committed to Pitt on Monday. Corhen announced the move on Instagram.

Corhen — the 6-foot-10, 225-pound forward from Sunrise Christian (KS) — averaged 9.4 points and 3.9 rebounds last season for the Seminoles. In his two-year career, he’s posted averages of 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game.

The Allen (TX) native was a four-star recruit and the No. 121 overall prospect per 247Sports in the class of 2022.

Corhen is the fifth player from Florida State to enter the portal this season and the first to commit to Jeff Capel and Pitt. Pitt has two other players in the portal in power forward Federiko Federiko and small forward William Jeffress.
