Illinois transfer guard Luke Goode will return home to play for his dream school by announcing his commitment to Indiana on Friday.
Goode — the 6-foot-7, 210-pound guard from Fort Wayne (IN) and Homstead High School — averaged 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists for the Illini last season. He started in seven games and primarily was utilized off the bench. Goode averaged 20.1 minutes per contest. The guard played three seasons at Illinois and will be a senior at Indiana. Goode is formerly the No. 103 overall player in the 2021 class per 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 167 available transfer per Evan Miya. Mike Woodson and Indiana now have four portal commits this cycle in Goode, former Arizona big man and Miya’s No. 2 overall player in the portal Oumar Ballo, former Stanford guard Kanaan Carlyle and former Washington State guard Myles Rice.
