Kansas State has landed a commitment from Villanova transfer Brendan Hausen, he announced on social media.
— Brendan Hausen (@HausenBrendan) April 26, 2024The 6-foot-4 Texas native averaged 6.2 points while shooting 38% from deep last season. A pure shooter, he figures to play a bigger role going forward for Coach Jerome Tang and his staff. He joins Illinois-Chicago transfer guard CJ Jones and former Michigan point guard Dug McDaniel at K-State. Hausen was one of several outgoing transfers at Villanova, including Trey Patterson (Rice), TJ Bamba and Lance Ware. Villanova, meantime, has added Penn transfer guard Tyler Perkins, who averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29 games for the Quakers last season. The Wildcats are also hosting La Salle grad transfer guard Jhamir Brickus this weekend. Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on Facebook
