Pacific transfer guard Moe Odum is transferring from Pacific to Pepperdine, he confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
Odum — the 6-foot-1, 160-pound guard from the Bronx — averaged 8.7 points, 4.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game last season for Pacific. He’s shot 39.4% from the field and 28.5% from 3-point range over his two-year career.
“A staff that’s been in the NBA or around the NBA for 10 plus years played a big part in me committing to Pepperdine,” Odum said. “My ultimate goal is to get to the next level and I feel like they can help me get there. Also the main goal is to get to the tournament and I feel we will have a good chance in doing so with the team that comes in this year and with a new coaching staff that’s been to multiple tournaments.”
Former Grand Canyon assistant Ed Schilling was named Pepperdine’s head coach on April 3. Odum is now his third portal addition, joining former Wake Forest guard Aaron Clark and former San Francisco small forward Stefan Todorovic.
