  • Cincinnati lands Texas transfer Dillon Mitchell

    Cincinnati on Friday landed a commitment from Texas transfer Dillon Mitchell.

    The 6-foot-8 Tampa, Fla. native was also linked to St. John’s and Arkansas, among others.

    He averaged 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds last season and helped Texas reach its second straight NCAA Tournament.

    Wes Miller’s team previously announced the signings of transfers Connor Hickman (Bradley) and Arrinten Page (USC).
