INDIANAPOLIS — Sebastian Williams-Adams, a five-star rising senior out of St. John’s (TX.), boosted JL3 Elite to a 3-1 weekend during the third Nike EYBL session, averaging 14 points with college coaches in attendance for the first time this spring.

The 6-foot-8 forward is an all-around player, who did it all for JL3 Elite, handling the ball up top, knocking down perimeter jumpers, rebounding on the interior and being active on defense.

Williams-Adams is targeting Kansas, Texas, Texas Tech and Texas A&M for official visits, while he’d like to get down to Baylor as well, should they extend an offer.

He plans to take visits around September-October, and is undecided if he will commit during the November timeframe.

“If it feels right then I’ll most definitely sign in the November timeframe,” he said. “But if it doesn’t then I’ll sign outside [the window].”

Williams-Adams broke down the five schools:

Kansas: “I went up there in December, and the fans were going absolutely crazy. The students were out [on break], and that was the craziest part to me. It was a game against Yale on a Friday night… and they go hard for their players. I met with the strength and conditioning coach, he was very detailed with his plan.”

Texas: “It’s close to home. Coach [Rodney] Terry is always present, like when I went down to Austin to play a school game, he made sure he could get out there and just the love he’s shown me. When I went up there on my unsocial, the players all embraced me. I was a freshman coming in, so that was already nice.”

Texas A&M: “They were my first real offer, and they’re not afraid to correct me like ‘Sebastian, you did well, but you could’ve offensive rebounded,’ Just having that already without me being like ‘Oh, I want to go there’ is pretty amazing.”

Texas Tech: Coach [Luke] Barnwell originally recruited me to go to Sunrise [Christian], and then he made the switch over. Ever since then, we’ve had a good type of relationship. Same thing with coach [Grant] McCasland, he’s come out to my school, had lunch with me [and] to me is real special. Because they’ve got kids everywhere they’re looking at, and he was willing to do that, so it was really nice.”
